Apple announced the iPad not along ago but since then there has been a huge media buzz about the feature-packed gizmo. Some people believe it has created a new category of its own although there has been many tablet PCs of similar size on the market for a number of years. Today, I'll give you an idea of how the iPad could change your technological future.

So, the feature list is a long one. It supplies you with a fast and easy solution for keeping your everyday life organised and entertaining. Missing Features:
Apple are clearly planning the same marketing scheme as the iPhone whereby they sell an updated version, with one or two new features, 6 or 12 months down the line. Below is a photo showing the frame of the iPad and the frame of a MacBook with similar placements for a digital camera component. And the guys who received the iPad parts have successfully slotted the camera from the MacBook into the iPad's frame. So don't be surprised when you hear of an iPad with a camera being retailed before next year. Despite claiming that the iPad will be "the best way to experience the web. Hands down", Apple are completely ignoring the use of Flash within their web browser because Steve Jobs thinks its "buggy" and that HTML 5 can fill the requirements of video and extensive media interactivities within webpages. The truth is, even by the time it is released in April, the majority of website owners and developers still won't be up to speed with HTML 5. Moreover, at this current time, more than 75 percent of web videos are rendered using the Adobe Flash Player plugin. And I won't even start on the number of Flash games hosted on the internet. Prices range from $499 for 16GB (No 3G) to $829 for 64GB with 3G but is the biggest capacity of 64GB enough for an average film fanatic? Overall, the iPad is the ideal size to look at and probably to work with and could well be the future's most popular hand-held device. But, in my opinion, the big question for Apple is 'will people bother with something that they can't even fit in their pockets?' In the mean time, here are some ideas: |
